Welcome Pat and David Lee

On your behalf, the Wilmslow u3a Management Committee and Chair Peter Highfield warmly welcome David Lee as our new Vice-Chair and Patricia Lee as our Interest Group Coordinator (IGC). We encourage you to support and assist Pat and David as they introduce fresh ideas and innovations to help grow our u3a and strengthen our Interest Groups, including the creation of new groups.

We say thank you to our retiring IGC Caroline Mangnall.

Theatre visits

INTERESTED: Pyramid Concert Orchestra. Arrangement should be by individuals (not by Wilmslow U3A) to listen to a group of 45 talented musicians on 26 July 2026 at the Stockport Plaza. Ticket price for an OAP is £13.20 including the booking fee of £1.20.

Bowling - a potential for a second group

Pat Lee, our IGC, visited the Wilmslow U3A Bowling Interest Group recently on a beautiful Friday afternoon in Alderly Edge Park.

The current Group is designated full, but there are some members of our U3A, who are interested in starting a second Bowling Group.

If you are interested in getting some fresh air, gentle exercise with a friendly chat thrown-in, and you would like to find out more, please contact Pat via our contact page.

Croquet

This is a new Interest Group on Rummikub. New members are welcome, contact Helen Whitehead, the Group Leader.
